RAC Arena is Western Australia’s state-of-the-art multi-purpose indoor entertainment and sports venue.

Known as one of the world’s most visually striking venues, RAC Arena’s design was based on the Eternity Puzzle, defined by nine unique façades, which give the building a different face from every angle. Since it opened its doors in November 2012, the venue has hosted a plethora of the world’s best live music concerts, comedians and sporting events.

The 16,500-capacity venue is home to Super Netball team, West Coast Fever as well as NBL Champions the Perth Wildcats. Venue highlights include achieving the all-time season attendance record holder for the NBL’s 40-year history, set in 2019 and holding the Australian domestic netball game attendance record set in 2018. ASM Global operates RAC Arena on behalf of VenuesWest.

Access way closures

City of Perth have advised that the cycleway from Market Street to Wellington St will remain closed from 22 May to 5 June 2024 while the modification to the pathway is being completed.  

The northern laneway will also be closed during this period. As such, there will be detours in place for all cyclists to be diverted to the cycleway that runs past the RAC building then along Wellington St (Map attached).
