Gym Memberships

Exercise is proven to keep you physically and mentally healthy, as well as help you find an effective stress relief routine. VenuesWest provides free gym and pool access at HBF Stadium and HBF Arena for permanent and fixed-term employees and board members and memberships also include access to group fitness classes (where places are available) and reduced rate PT sessions. Casual employees are entitled to a free 3-month off-peak membership.

Employee Assistance Program

VenuesWest has engaged PeopleSense, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provider, to provide independent, confidential and professional counselling services for employees, casual staff and family members to help resolve personal and work related problems affecting job performance and/or general wellbeing. Consultation hours are Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 6.00pm, across several different locations.

VenuesWest will provide you and your immediate family the opportunity to participate in sport, recreation and education programs at a discounted rate. These programs span from kids activities to adult gymnastics, swimming lessons, sporting competitions and creche.

Optical Reimbursement & Eyesight Screening

All people working in an office environment who are exposed to prolonged computer use should undergo regular eye testing. Permanent employees and Board Members with more than 12 months service and who are required to operate screen based equipment in excess of 1 hour per day or 10 hours per week are eligible for a subsidy for corrective optical aids of 50% of the actual out-of pocket expenses.
